Your adventure begins as you arrive in the bustling city of Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. You will be greeted by our friendly tour guide who will escort you to your hotel for check-in. After settling in, you will have the rest of the day to explore the city at your leisure. Take a stroll through the vibrant markets, sample the local cuisine, or simply relax and unwind before the exciting days ahead.
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will set off for the picturesque city of Kandy, nestled amidst lush green hills. Along the way, we will stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can witness these majestic creatures up close and even participate in feeding them. In Kandy, we will visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore the vibrant local markets. In the evening, enjoy a traditional cultural show before retiring to your hotel for the night.
Today, we will journey to the charming town of Nuwara Eliya, known as the "Little England" of Sri Lanka due to its colonial architecture and cool climate. En route, we will visit a tea plantation and factory to learn about the process of tea production and sample some of the finest Ceylon tea. In Nuwara Eliya, take a leisurely stroll around Lake Gregory or visit the Hakgala Botanical Gardens before checking into your hotel for the night.
Rise and shine early this morning for a thrilling safari adventure in Yala National Park, home to a diverse range of wildlife including leopards, elephants, and exotic bird species. Keep your camera ready as you embark on a jeep safari through the park, where you may have the chance to spot these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. After an exciting day of wildlife spotting, we will head to our hotel near the park for a well-deserved rest.
Today, we will make our way to the historic city of Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its well-preserved Dutch colonial architecture. Explore the charming cobblestone streets of the Galle Fort, visit the iconic lighthouse, and wander through the bustling markets. In the afternoon, relax on the pristine beaches of Unawatuna or go snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters before returning to your hotel in Galle for the night.
On the final day of your tour, we will return to Colombo for your departure flight. Before heading to the airport, take some time to explore the city's highlights, such as the Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Square, and the vibrant Pettah Market.
